I’m Beth Farris, a business mentor, brand strategist, and marketing coach for solo business owners.

Being a business owner is scary, exciting, frustrating, tough, rewarding, exhausting, but most of all – empowering.

When you create a business on your own terms and make a positive impact, it’s an amazing feeling. And I want that for you too!

My mission and method is simple. I help people start and evolve their own business through clarity on their unique brilliance, niche, business model, message and marketing strategy.

I worked in the corporate world in various marketing roles for 18 years. Then in 2017, I made the transition from employee to entrepreneur.

As a marketing consultant I worked really hard and tried to do everything for everyone. I learned that if the quality of your work is high and you can connect with people, you CAN get a certain amount of clients, repeat work and referrals.

BUT THERE WAS JUST ONE PROBLEM.

Although I landed some great contracts, working this way was not efficient. In fact, it was exhausting. Everything started to just feel… hard.

• Spending hours on custom projects and proposals.
• Feeling awkward and insecure explaining what I do.
• Posting random content on social media because I lacked clarity on my niche.
• Getting the wrong kind of clients referred to me.

The secret to getting more clients? It’s simple (not sexy). It’s getting your foundation right.

HOW I ENDED UP HERE

My husband and I spent a year backpacking around the world in 2014. One of the many places we visited was Amsterdam. I remember saying to him, “This is such a cool city, I could see us living here.” Once we were back, he saw a great job post on Reddit, applied for it on a whim, and got it. (ha!) So we had a big decision to make. But by then we knew we could adapt to a different country. And Amsterdam was a perfect fit.

If there’s one thing that lights me up more than anything, it’s clarity.

I love getting to know my clients, sharing knowledge and working in a way that leads to moments of clarity where you think, “Yes! That’s it. That’s exactly what I’m all about. That’s exactly the impact I want to have and how I want to run my business.”
