Why Clarity Matters.

Clarity is something I’m fiercely passionate about. But why?

Why does clarity matter when it comes to your business and brand?

You go farther, faster with a clear plan.

As solo business owners, we are self-starters. Curious, ambitious and not afraid to try new things. So we dive into all.

Googling, watching webinars, downloading freebies, taking courses, creating task lists, eyeing those tempting offers to get to 10K months.

And before you know it? UGH. We’re stressed. Overwhelmed. Our task list is out of control and we don’t even know where to begin. We’re trying to do all the things, all at once, and end up exhausted.

Sound familiar?

The hard truth…

Quick hacks and trendy tactics won’t work without a solid foundation. If you continue down this path, progress will be slow and frustrating. Or worse. You won’t see any progress at all.

When you set clear goals, and have a step-by-step plan to achieve them, you stay focused. You know which actions to take to move your business forward. You’re not distracted by all those shiny objects.

Your offers and messages make ideal clients say YES!

Whether you’re an aspiring coach, consultant or creative, I promise you, you CAN build a profitable business. You CAN do fulfilling work with amazing clients.

But how?

The first step is not creating that cool Instagram account. Or that fancy funnel.

It’s getting clear on your ideal client, what they want, and how to talk to them.

When you do the market research, when you get clear on your niche, you know exactly which services to sell. You understand your ideal client’s problems and desires. And you know which words to use to connect with them.

The result:

  • People feel understood, and say “YES! She gets it. She gets me.”
  • People are motivated to buy, and say “YES! That is exactly what I need. Where do I sign up?”

Otherwise, your offers and messages fall flat. They don’t resonate. They don’t inspire.

They don’t sell.

You struggle to build relationships and trust with the kind of people you really want to serve. They don’t buy from you because they don’t feel seen and understood, so they don’t trust that you can help them.

Your business and marketing feel good, right, and totally aligned with who you are.

I know what you’re thinking. Promoting yourself feels so… icky. Fake. Unethical. Like you’re showing off. How can it possibly feel good?

It starts with clarity on why you’re in business in the first place. To help people, right? To create impact. To share your unique gifts, strengths and skills (and yes, to make money while you’re at it.)

When you go deep on:

  • knowing your values and vision
  • your passions and point of view
  • your unique approach to solving your client’s problems

…you can’t wait to tell the world!

Your marketing strategies and tactics make sense because you know exactly where they lead.

You feel more confident and energized, so you naturally become more magnetic.

When you DON’T have the inner clarity and clarity of purpose, you’re scared to put yourself “out there.” So your business stays stuck, you don’t make sales, and you don’t have the impact you want to have in the world.

You get more clients because it’s clear who you help and what you do.

I know you believe that anyone, anywhere can benefit from your service. And you can tailor it to whatever people need!

Here’s the problem. Your friends and business contacts may want to refer you but they have no clear idea who you help and what exactly you do.

And that is a HUGE missed opportunity because referrals are a primary way that service-based businesses get clients.

If your contacts are confused, it’s just easier not to refer you. If prospects are confused, it’s just easier to click away or delay the decision.

Your website, your message, your offer – it’s all pretty vague. So it doesn’t inspire trust and confidence. And people want to be sure that you help people exactly like them – with services that address their specific problems and goals.

However, when you do have clarity on your niche and ideal client, you make it easy for prospects to say yes. You make it easy for people to talk about you and refer you.

And that means more clients and less marketing.

Your business feels calm and intentional.

Feeling fuzzy and unfocused is fun, at a party with friends.

In business? Not so much.

When you have clarity on your unique brilliance, business, and brand – when you’re clear on your goals and how to achieve them – you feel empowered.

As a solopreneur it’s so easy to be busy. It’s so easy to get distracted.

But clarity gives you direction and keeps you focused. So you can be more intentional with your time, make better decisions, and get more clients.

My purpose as a Business Clarity Mentor is to guide you to know which steps to take. To simplify your path to success.

You don’t have to walk that path alone, and it doesn’t have to be a struggle. I’m here to help.
