Why every established coach needs a signature framework
If you don’t yet have a signature framework or method, it could be for any number of reasons.
Let me take a few guesses. Do any of these ring true?
You believe “It’s the client’s journey to design, not mine as the coach.”
You want each client experience to be highly tailored and personalized to their unique situation and goals.
You work with a broad range of people on a broad range of challenges, so creating a rigid process feels impossible.
You utilize a variety of modalities, tools, and techniques to address individual needs.
You don’t like strict structures and routines; it feels like a loss of freedom, flexibility, intuition and flow.
OK, I hear you.
But here's what I wish I realized sooner…
You can have a framework and still personalize the client experience to individual needs.
Your signature framework is how you uniquely guide clients to a particular transformation, so it can integrate any tools and techniques you like!
A clear process is incredibly liberating AND it actually yields better outcomes.
HA. Mind-blowing but true! I recently discovered this for myself, after years of resisting a more structured process.
A signature framework helps both internally and externally. Meaning… it helps me elevate my internal process and sell more easily to the public.
A window into your wisdom
Your signature framework demonstrates your expertise. And yeah, a list of credentials is always impressive. But a framework can provide a glimpse into how you think and how you approach the problem. It’s rooted in what works – based on your deep knowledge, client experience, and lived experience.
A framework adds substance and weight to your offer and helps you stand out in the competitive landscape.
So it's no longer just coaching… it's a defined, structured path to a specific transformation.
Prospects feel safe to buy
A prospect recently told me that my framework was one of the key reasons why she chose me over another coach who offers free-flowing sessions.
To a prospect, a coach with a defined framework feels like the premium brand, and a coach without one feels like the generic alternative.
The LURPAK feels like the obvious choice, right? 😉
Value made real
When buyers see a defined process, they know exactly what they’re going to get. The value is made more real and tangible. People can see that you offer a total solution to a complex problem. And when you can effectively demonstrate value, you can charge more for your work.
The process creates peace
Before I created a more cohesive program and standardized process, showing up to each client session required setting the agenda, deciding what to focus on next, updating custom plans and task lists. There was A LOT more pre- and post-session work.
However, when you thoughtfully map out the journey and organize it into logical steps – with supporting materials – suddenly you have a repeatable system. You always know what comes next.
And now you can focus more creative and mental energy on your clients and the heart of your work, instead of constantly steering the ship and being consumed by operational details.
Here’s another analogy…
Performing in a scripted film vs. an improv show. The process is the script you follow, but you can always go off-script and improvise where needed. The process is not set in stone.
I am amazed at the time I am saving now. And how I feel more calm, confident and prepared. It’s very liberating, and it puts me in a position to serve more clients, scale my impact and income.

Tips to get started
Creating your framework is a multi-step process, but to get started reflect on these 4 questions:
What are the main problems I love to solve?
What are the specific actions I help people take, time and time again?
What is the ultimate outcome of my program, and all the essential steps required to achieve it?
What do I do a little differently, and why does that difference matter?
You may be surprised to find that the bones of your framework already exist. It just hasn’t been made visible yet.
Still, this process of extracting and articulating your method can be challenging to do on your own. I can help! This is one of the key areas I help clients with in THE BRAND RESET. Book a no-pressure chat to learn more.
